I am an experienced football coach, academic, and educator from Sheffield, England, currently based in Hong Kong. I work as an Assistant College Lecturer at HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College, where I teach within the areas of sports coaching and sport performance.
Alongside my academic role, I am the Technical Director of The Holmshaw Academy Ltd, a youth football organisation based in Yorkshire, England. In this role, I oversee curriculum design, coach education, and coaching delivery, working remotely while living in Asia.
I have over ten years of professional experience in football coaching, working across youth age-groups and senior women’s football. My experience extends beyond on-pitch coaching and includes football management, performance analysis, coach education, teaching and lecturing, and technical leadership roles.
Academically, I hold both undergraduate and master’s degrees in Sports Coaching and have recently completed the UEFA B coaching qualification. My approach to coaching and education prioritises long-term development over short-term results, with a strong focus on educating learners, developing players and coaches, and building sustainable programmes and projects over time.
