About
I am a football coach/manager from Sheffield, England. I have been coaching football for 10 years and have had the experience of working in both youth age-group and senior football. My ambition in the world of football coaching is to obtain the position of the head coach of a professional football club.
Football coaching is my first passion, and I have actively been involved over the last two years working as a first-team manager within senior women’s football. I am currently taking some time out from the senior game and focusing on developing my coaching practice further within youth football. I am currently the head coach of the U15’s team at Kickabout Performance Academy, who compete in the junior premier league.

I hold the role of the Head of Football Development at Kickabout Performance Academy and Technical director of The Holmshaw Academy LTD. In both roles I oversee curriculum design and coaching delivery. I thoroughly enjoy my work through these off-field roles, and see this as a future career aside from my role as a head coach.
Aside from coaching, I have also been involved in coach education. I was a teaching assistant at Leeds Beckett University working on the Sports Coaching undergraduate course. In my role I assessed student performance, gave feedback and graded undergraduate students sports coaching sessions. Coach education is an additional passion of mine, and I enjoy regularly delivering CPD sessions to colleagues to help better practice.
Having completed both an BSc and MSc degree in Sports Coaching, I am keen to engage within and implement concepts and theory from academia within sports coaching science. My coaching practice differs from the cultural norms within football, yet I believe my style is more beneficial.
I believe in long term development over short term gain. I am a coach that likes to develop players, my team, and the various projects that I am involved with over time.
